Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and conditions to identify any changes that require immediate attention.
- Document patient care activities, assessments, and responses to treatment accurately and promptly.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, medications, and self-care techniques.
Qualifications
- Current, active, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience preferred (new graduates may be considered).
- Strong computer proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
