Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in accordance with clinical protocols and ethical standards
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
- Mentor junior nursing staff and contribute to team development
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 3+ years experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certifications; ACLS preferred
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in acute care setting
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
