Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
