About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse, you will serve as the patient's advocate, ensuring high-quality care is delivered in a safe and efficient manner. You will play a critical role in our mission to provide exceptional healthcare services to the San Diego community.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in clinical condition.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the broader healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Provide patient and family education to ensure understanding of treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the State of California (RN license required).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting (Preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
