Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on clinical guidelines.
- Administer medications and treatments with precision, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery and discharge planning.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to critical changes in condition.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and families regarding treatment plans.
- Adhere to all regulatory standards, including Joint Commission and CMS requirements.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate degree (ADN) accepted with relevant experience.
- CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for patient advocacy.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
