Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to medical protocols and safety standards.
- Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to any changes in condition or emergencies.
- Document all patient interactions, care provided, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-discharge care.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (Med-Surg or ICU experience a plus).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and family interaction.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.
