Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on evidence-based practice.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient health status, recognizing changes in condition, and initiating appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare team members to ensure holistic care.
- Document all patient care activities, including assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Washington State RN License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
