Responsibilities
- Assist with Daily Living: Support patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and accurately record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Patient Mobility: Assist patients with ambulation and transfers to ensure safety and comfort.
- Hygiene & Sanitation: Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Documentation: Update patient records and report changes in patient condition to the nursing staff promptly.
- Communication: Interact compassionately with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current California CNA certification required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Experience: Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply; prior experience is a plus.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Attitude: Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care with a strong work ethic.
