Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on clinical guidelines.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders and facility protocols.
- Monitor patient health status and promptly report any changes or emergencies to the clinical team.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Adhere to all hospital policies, safety regulations, and professional standards of care.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (Telehealth experience is a plus).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- CPR/BLS certification and ACLS certification preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
