Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to hospital protocols and patient safety standards.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to therapies, escalating care immediately when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Provide compassionate patient education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Mexico.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting (Medical-Surgical preferred).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Flexibility to travel and adapt to different unit rotations and healthcare settings.
