Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with hospital protocols and state nursing regulations.
- Assess patient needs, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and licensed providers.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida or compact state.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred (Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, or ICU experience highly valued).
- Valid Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation certification.
- Flexibility to travel and work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
