Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough phone assessments of patient symptoms to determine appropriate level of care.
- Provide expert medical advice, triage recommendations, and referrals to appropriate specialists.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and care plans accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Adhere to all medical protocols, legal guidelines, and company policies.
- Manage high call volumes efficiently while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered RN license in the state of Ohio.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with specific experience in triage or telehealth preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills in urgent care situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote or call center setting.
