Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments while monitoring patient responses and documenting outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Assess patient conditions, identify changes, and initiate appropriate interventions
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate medical records using our advanced electronic health record system
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control measures
- Support new nurses through orientation and mentorship programs
Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license or compact state license
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; ADN candidates with experience considered
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred for emergency department roles
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience preferred; new graduates welcome
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development
