Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
- Monitor patient vital signs and medical conditions, reporting any changes immediately.
- Document patient histories, symptoms, and treatment responses accurately and in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, healthcare management, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain a sterile and safe environment in compliance with hospital policies and OSHA standards.
- Collaborate effectively with nurses, physicians, and other staff members to ensure seamless patient care.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Colorado.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting (New graduates encouraged to apply).
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
