Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans, and maintain medical records.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond immediately to any changes in condition or emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, wellness, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting (Critical Care preferred but not required).
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
