Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care across medical-surgical, telemetry, and ICU units
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and discharge planning
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Maintain strict compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and hospital safety standards
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (BRN) in good standing
- ACLS/BLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates considered)
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Passion for patient-centered care and community service
