Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care by monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and documenting patient health status accurately.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff in performing medical procedures and treatments as directed.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families to explain treatment plans and provide emotional support.
- Respond to emergencies swiftly and professionally within the clinical setting.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff by adhering to all health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and adjust individualized care plans.
Qualifications
- Current RN License issued by the New York State Department of Education (or willingness to obtain one).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not mandatory for entry-level roles.
- Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others.
