Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough physical assessments and monitor patient conditions to identify changes in health status.
- Care Implementation: Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Documentation: Accurately and timely document patient care, interventions, and responses in electronic health records.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency situations and critical patient needs to ensure patient safety.
- Infection Control: Adhere strictly to infection control policies and safety regulations to maintain a sterile environment.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Arizona.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (New graduates encouraged to apply).
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and time management skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Technology: Proficiency in navigating electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Compassion: Demonstrated ability to provide empathetic and high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
