Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on clinical assessment and patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and medication management.
- Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to any changes in condition.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (Illinois or Washington D.C.).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (Graduate of an accredited Nursing School).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
