Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in ER/ICU units using evidence-based nursing practices
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and safety protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions in electronic health records
- Monitor vital signs and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license (or compact license with TX endorsement)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- 1+ years acute care experience (ER/ICU preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
