Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and treatment plans
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Current Nebraska Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience (acute care preferred)
- BLS certification; ACLS and PALS certifications required for ICU/ER roles
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
