Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in acute care settings with focus on assessment, treatment planning, and medication administration
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor vital signs and document patient progress accurately in electronic health records
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and treatment protocols
- Adhere to infection control standards and regulatory compliance requirements
- Participate in emergency response procedures and rapid response team activations
- Maintain sterile environments and assist with medical procedures as needed
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (compact license accepted)
- ACLS/BLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years acute care experience (ER, ICU, or Telemetry preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience highly desirable)
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
