Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with evidence-based practices and facility protocols
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans using critical thinking skills
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and care team members for coordinated care
- Document patient encounters, observations, and interventions in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and discharge planning
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and JCAHO regulations
Qualifications
- Active Washington State Registered Nurse license (RN)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years acute care experience considered
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 1 year recent acute care nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and time management skills
- Proficiency in electronic health records (Epic experience preferred)
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing conditions
