Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with evidence-based nursing standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care delivery
- Maintain detailed patient documentation and electronic health records
- Provide patient education and support for self-management
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to all HIPAA and regulatory compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Active RN license in District of Columbia or compact state
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 3+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
