Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient assessment, treatment, and care coordination during weekend shifts
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient information accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism and critical thinking
- Mentor junior staff and uphold hospital standards of care excellence
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and weekend shift leadership activities
Qualifications
- Valid California RN license (BRN) in good standing
- BSN or Associate Degree in Nursing with 2+ years clinical experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; ACLS preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in emergency medicine, critical care, or med-surg
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions autonomously
