Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond immediately to any changes in condition or emergencies.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and medical records.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding their treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas (TX RN License).
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred for specialized units.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
