Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precise documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Respond to emergent situations with critical thinking and swift intervention
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA
- Supervise LPNs and CNAs while mentoring nursing students when applicable
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and weekend shift leadership
Qualifications
- Active WI RN license with no disciplinary actions
- BSN or Associate's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience (weekend shift preferred)
- BLS/ACLS certifications required; TNCC or PALS beneficial
- Proficiency in Epic EHR or comparable systems
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Exceptional communication and prioritization skills
- Commitment to weekend availability (Sat/Sun 7am-7pm)
