Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide direct patient care and education to patients and families regarding health conditions.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and critical care needs during shift hours.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
