Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessment, monitoring, and care coordination during weekend shifts
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions with precision
- Document patient records accurately and maintain HIPAA compliance standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- Strong proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Experience in trauma or emergency care highly desirable
