Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and clinical notes.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and home care instructions.
- Respond immediately to patient emergencies and critical situations with urgency and precision.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care interventions and adapt nursing strategies as needed.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio (or willingness to relocate to Florida).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Ability to lift and move patients as required by clinical duties.
- Computer literacy with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
