Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to assigned patients during weekend shifts.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to hospital protocols and state regulations.
- Monitor patient vitals and health status, promptly identifying and reporting any changes to the charge nurse or provider.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Assist with patient admission, discharge, and transfer processes.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (New graduates considered).
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
