Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, monitoring vital signs and administering medications accurately.
- Assess patient conditions and report changes to the nursing supervisor or physician immediately.
- Implement and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Perform accurate documentation and charting in accordance with hospital standards.
- Respond to emergency situations calmly and efficiently, utilizing critical thinking skills.
- Support patient and family education regarding treatment plans and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nevada.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced weekend environment.
