Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor health status throughout the shift.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments with strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Document patient care activities, interventions, and responses in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies and patient call lights.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning support.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
