Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in weekend shifts (Sat/Sun) with rotating holidays
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and update medical records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for treatment planning
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital protocols
- Provide patient/family education and emotional support
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency response
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona (or compact license)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN with 2+ years experience considered
- Minimum 2 years acute care or hospital experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in weekend coverage
- Flexibility to float between units as needed
