Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations with precision and documentation accuracy
- Monitor patient vital signs, assess conditions, and report changes to clinical team
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and infection control procedures
- Utilize Epic EHR systems for comprehensive documentation and care coordination
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license in good standing
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN)
- Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
