Responsibilities
- Perform thorough patient assessments and develop detailed, individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and patient progress continuously, alerting the charge nurse or provider to any changes.
- Document patient data accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to families during critical times.
- Uphold HIPAA regulations and maintain a sterile, safe clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (New graduates welcome).
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work under pressure in high-volume settings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with medical software and computer systems.
- Valid state identification and proof of eligibility to work in the US.
