Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with clinical protocols and standards
- Administer medications and treatments accurately with proper documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergency situations with swift intervention
- Maintain precise electronic health records (EHR) and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and health maintenance
- Participate in shift handovers and team meetings for continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of New Mexico
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience (ER, ICU, or Med-Surg preferred)
- ACLS/BLS certifications required; PALS or TNCC a plus
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
