Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication administration
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient observations, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergency situations with critical thinking
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and preventive care
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance, safety protocols, and infection control standards
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Wisconsin (WI) or compact state
- BSN or Associate degree in Nursing with 1+ years of clinical experience
- ACLS/BLS certifications required; specialty certifications preferred
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Excellent communication and patient-centered care abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
