Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with state licensure and facility protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications/treatments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Respond promptly to emergent situations, utilizing critical thinking and clinical judgment.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, discharge planning, and post-care instructions.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, infection control measures, and hospital policies.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting (Med-Surg, ICU, or Telemetry preferred).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
