Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care in accordance with established clinical protocols and standards
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments and progress using our advanced electronic health record system
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control procedures
- Provide patient education and support to promote health maintenance and recovery
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous process enhancement
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Louisiana
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in acute care or specialty nursing
- ACLS/BLS certification required (PALS preferred for certain units)
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems and clinical documentation
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
