Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and medical status to identify changes in health conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient care services, including assessments, treatments, and response to care.
- Respond to medical emergencies and assist with critical care procedures as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of North Carolina.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (New Grads welcome).
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
