Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate patient care and conduct thorough initial and ongoing assessments.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in strict accordance with physician orders and state regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other interdisciplinary team members.
- Document patient medical history, symptoms, progress notes, and care plans accurately and timely.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and critical care needs within the unit.
- Ensure patient safety and infection control protocols are strictly followed at all times.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with minimal supervision.
- Computer literacy with EMR/EHR experience.
