Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and promptly report any changes in condition to the charge nurse or physician.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and medical records.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and home care instructions.
- Respond quickly to medical emergencies and assist with code blue situations as needed.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking skills, and ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
