As a Registered Nurse in our Sacramento facility, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services to our community.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and according to hospital protocols.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and progress to ensure recovery and safety.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding medical conditions, treatment plans, and preventative care.
- Document patient care services accurately and in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and assist in code blue responses when necessary.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
