Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by conducting physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatments, documenting all observations accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health management, and medication compliance.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations in the unit.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience (New graduates encouraged to apply with strong externships).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
