Responsibilities
- Assess patient health issues and needs, developing and implementing comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patients' conditions continuously and make immediate interventions when necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Document patient care activities, medical histories, and treatment plans accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and their families on post-treatment home care and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Maintain a safe and clean healthcare environment by following infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care.
