Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and triage calls remotely.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient progress via virtual channels and update medical records in EHR systems.
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and medication management.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and urgent care requests within SLA guidelines.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Proficient in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) and telehealth platforms.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Problem-solving skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence.
