Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including medication administration, wound treatment, and health monitoring
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Document patient observations and treatment plans accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge care protocols
- Coordinate care transitions and consult with physicians on patient progress
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education
Qualifications
- Valid Washington State Registered Nurse license (RN)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with relevant experience considered
- Minimum 2 years of acute care or specialty nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; specialty certifications preferred
- Strong assessment skills and ability to prioritize critical situations
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EHR)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
