Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and in compliance with hospital protocols and regulations.
- Monitor patient vitals and clinical status continuously, escalating concerns immediately to physicians and charge nurses.
- Provide direct patient care and emotional support, ensuring a compassionate and healing environment.
- Document all patient interactions, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, discharge instructions, and preventative care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and coordinated patient care.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Washington.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (New Graduates with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong clinical decision-making skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
