Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care and comprehensive health assessments in acute care settings.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to strict hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation of patient medical records, including vital signs and shift notes.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and healing environment for all patients and visitors by adhering to infection control standards.
- Respond swiftly to medical emergencies and critical situations with professional composure and clinical expertise.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington (WA).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or acute care environment.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
- Demonstrated ability to float to different units and adapt to changing patient needs.
- Commitment to patient safety, privacy (HIPAA), and quality improvement standards.
